“ What’s going on with Golden Wok? They had amazing Chinese, Thai and Japanese food 10 years ago. It seems in the last few months they stopped online ordering, don’t answer their phone, and the quality of food has dropped dramatically. Most items are out of stock and if you get them they aren’t even close to what they used to be. You’re making me sad, Golden Wok. I ordered once a week for years... it really has been a gradual decline in service and quality. Really sucks when there isn’t that much around here to begin with. Guess I’ll go to Amenia for their average Chinese food because at least they have decent service, and honestly, their food is better than Golden Wok’s these days. Edit a year later: I am upgrading my review because the service and food has rebounded. Average grub, good service, we are lucky to have you. ”

“ I've lost count of how many times I've been here. I am addicted to their sweet and sour chicken and rice. The food is filling and portions are fair for the great prices. Takeout is better than sitting down for dinner at this place because the interior is a sterile and has a drab atmosphere, I would rather enjoy this food over Netflix if you know what I mean. ”

“ The restaurant part is closed so only the takeout store is open. We ordered the appetizer combo, the Chengdu dumplings, and Moo Shu pork. All of the items were enjoyable. If you need to satisfy the basic Chinese takeout urge, this is as good a place as any. If you are looking for something more "gourmet", it is what it is. And as far as service, while the young man at the counter was not much for talking, he was polite and processed my order accurately. ”

“ So many Asian restaurants overly sweeten their food to make it more appealing; the Golden Wok doesn’t do this - instead they provide great flavor and texture in their dishes. Delicious. On top of that, have a food allergy that many restaurants do not take seriously. The folks here did, which made my experience with them much more enjoyable, not having to worry about going into anaphylaxis. I’ll be back! ”

“ Drove by and ordered a couple of dishes including chicken fried rice noodle and shrimp chow mein. Both tasted great, especially the rice noodle. Food was ready within minutes while we waited. Would definitely recommend. Note that it was takeout only when we were there. ”

“ Golden Wok got us through Covid. For American Chinese food, a category of Chinese cuisine I generally pass on in favor of more authentic or regional varieties, Golden Wok is some of the best I've had in the US. So thankful it's down the road from me. We got take-out here at least 1x a week (sometimes more!) over 8 months, and never once was the food bad. It was consistent, on point, had flavor beyond just being salty, decent ingredients, never got too bloated, all the comfort food specials we know and love. So legit. Thanks for feeding us and giving us joy during these crazy times :) ”
